What happened at Ignyte today?

Today we watched a dvd from Reinhard Bonkke's "Full Flame Series." The titles are Who Jesus calls and equips and The Art of the Impossible.
We learnt that Jesus spent the whole night praying before he chose the 12 disciples. He did not go the best universities in Jerusalem to choose his disciples. But instead he chose ordinary fishermen, people whom the world considered to be nobodies.
Jesus does not choose us because of what we are, but because of what He makes from us.
We may see ourselves as Zero but when we make Christ number one in our lives, He adds value to us. We are valuable in His sight, we are precious.
We did an exercise, where we asked one person to represent Jesus. He is number one. And all of us lined up next to him. We are all zeroes, but when we stand next to Jesus, our zeroes have values, and we numbered ourselves until we reached trillion . . . until infinity (cannot count anymore).
Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do everything through him who gives me strength."
Hey guys! (gals included) if you are struggling and worrying about your exams now, believe that with Christ all things are possible. With Jesus, he can move the immovable, cure the incurable, and make the impossible possible.
Ephesians 3: 20-21: Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.

The Power of Compounding.....
A poet once fell upon such hard times that he was no longer able to feed his family. Hearing that the king greatly encouraged talent and was famed for his generosity, the poet set-off for the royal palace. When brought before the king, he bowed and asked that he may recite a poem. On hearing his recitation, the king, well pleased, asked him to name his reward.
The poet, pointing to a fine chessboard before the king said, "Your highness, if you place just one grain of rice on the first square of this chessboard and double it for every square, I'll consider myself well rewarded." "Are you sure?" asked the king, greatly surprised. "Just grains of rice, not gold?" "Yes, your highness" affirmed the humble poet.
"So it shall be" ordered the king and his courtiers started placing the grain on the chessboard. One grain on the first square, 2 on the second, 4 on the third, 8 on the fourth and so on. By the time they came to the 10th square, they had to place 512 grains of rice. The number swelled to 524,288 grains on the 20th square. When they came to the half way mark, the 32nd square, the grain count was 2,147,483,648 - i.e. over 214 crores! Soon the count increased to lakhs of crores (a chessboard consists of 64 squares)and eventually the hapless king had to hand over his entire kingdom to the poet.
And it all began with just one grain of rice!
Remember....Jesus is Number One!!
Climb Till Your Dreams Come True
Often, your tasks will be many....more than you think you can do. Often, the road will be rugged....and the hills insurmountable too.
Always remember, the hills ahead are never as steep as they seem....and with faith in your heart, start upward and climb till you reach your dreams.
Nothing in life that is worthy is ever too hard to achieve....if you have the courage to try it, and you have the faith to believe.
Faith is a force that is greater than knowledge or power or skill. Many defeats turn to triumphs....if you trust in God's wisdom and will.
Faith is a mover of mountains....there's nothing that God cannot do. So start out today with faith in your heart....and Climb Till Your Dreams Come True.
There's one more for you.....
Your talent is God's gift to you; what you do with it is your gift to God.
