THINK
What things make you afraid?
READ
Luke 12: 1-7
This reading tells us we should fear God - but that doesn't mean we should be scared of him. God has power over life and death (v. 5), so his power over us goes on after we die, unlike ordinary people's, which only lasts for life (v.4). Someone so powerful deserves our respect and honour - that's what fearing God is all about.
However, remember that at the same time God loves you enormously - he even knows how many hairs are on your head (v.7)!
PRAY
Ask God to help you remember how powerful he is - and thank him that he loves you.
What things make you afraid?
- Open spaces
- Flying
- Spiders
- Heights
- Something else .......................

God is all powerful. At the same time, know that God's faithfulness to us is so wonderful. His love endures forever. Keep your faith...Intense belief and a total commitment to the Almighty is paramount in all areas of our lives. God allows us to take each season of life joyously as it comes. We build dreams in our delicate years, we gather strength in our youth...but we grow spiritual as we age. Each time, He lifts us up and mercifully delivers us. Give thanks to God for His unfailing compassion.
Proverbs 3: 3-4
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
