Following Jesus

READ
Luke 9: 51-56
THINK
A few days ago we read about telling other people good news. Sometimes though, people aren't interested in listening to you, or they think your news isn't important.
How does that make you feel?
Yes No
Jesus was a Jew, and at that time there was a lot of bad feeling between the Samaritans and the Jews. But, whatever the reason, it made James and John angry (v. 54)!
Sometimes our friends won't want to listen when we talk about Jesus, or they might say things against him that make us sad or angry, like the disciples were. Jesus is important to us, and it hurts when others don't want to know.
PRAY
Thank Jesus that He understands how we feel when people don't care about Him.

- Let down?
- Angry?
