Holy Violence

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 12:29 PM

Are you driven by the intense emotions of Heaven's call? Is there the fire of destiny burning in your spirit that nothing can quench? Why. . . for it is Heaven's flame. Seek Jesus and give yourself no rest until you find Him. Be one of these violent men or women that take heaven by force. Plead, wrestle, strive, and prevail in prayer at that mighty throne of grace.

Pray for those youths who have not yet experienced the Jesus High to come for this Saturday's youth concert!

YOUR DEFINING MOMENT

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 11:09 AM

Can you recall the day when Jesus totally rocked your world? Today is the day of new beginning, new breakthrough, new move of God and new destiny. Who knows, that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?(Esther 4:14). God has an appointment with you and the result could change the world. When that defining moment comes, will you be ready?
~ Kelly Koh

4 more days to go the Youth Concert. Power to Change - will you be the answer to someone's prayer this morning. Let it be your defining moment to lead someone to Christ and let it be their defining moment to have Jesus as their Saviour. Will you change the world one LIFE at a time!

Give God first place

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Monday, June 28, 2010 at 12:18 PM

The best defense is a good offense. If you fill your mind with God's Word, when the enemy comes there is not going to be any room for him. In everything you do, if you put God first, he will direct and crown your efforts with success (Proverbs 3:6). God will guard and shield your pathway. He is leading you in the right way and causes you to make the right decision every time.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. Don't be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones. (NLT Proverbs 3: 5-7)

Honour Your Parents

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Friday, June 25, 2010 at 11:52 AM

As children we often tend to take many good things in life for granted and never really thank our parents or show sufficient appreciation for the sacrifices they made. Exodus 20:12 encourages us to treat our parents with honour, give due obedience and courtesy to them so that our days may be long in the land the Lord our God gives us.

So invite your parents for Parents' Day tomorrow in church at 7.30 p.m.

Ask them to dress their best - there will be the Most Best Dressed Dad and the Most Best Dressed Mom contest!

Influence Others

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 10:58 AM

The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, We have found the Messiah (that is, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus (John 1:4-42). Andrew is not famous in the Bible but the most noteworthy thing he did was to bring his brother, Simon, who later became the well-known Simon Peter, to Jesus. You and I might not achieve great notoriety in ourselves, but we can bring someone to Christ who may become a prominent Christian leader and win multitudes. Think of those who influenced, taught and won Billy Graham to the Lord! We should also begin with our family members!

Will you bring one to the Parents' Day this Saturday and the Youth Concert next Saturday?

Fruit or Fire

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 2:20 PM

Read

John 15

It may sound harsh and unloving to some, but the truth of John 15 is bear fruit or be cast into the fire! Bear fruit or be cut off the vine! Bear fruit or be taken away to wither and die! That is radical. Bearing fruit is not an option. It is either fruit or fire!

What kind of fruit is Jesus referring to? I believe one of it is winning souls. When we see the Lord face to face, will our baskets be filled with fruits - the lives of many people whom we have won to Christ?

Jesus asked us to bear fruit and he goes on to say "much fruit," "more fruit." Are you a fruitful Christian?

What Motivations Motivate You?

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 11:34 AM

The Apostles incited believers to great obedience to the commandments of Christ. Yet they did not say: Do this or you will be punished or do that and get a reward. They never cracked the whip of the Law in the ears of fellow saints. That is sordid and born in fear. The primary heart conquering motive for a believer is deep love for Jesus and His Word. Obedience is just the outworking of New Covenant reality.

What motivates you? Do you act out of fear of punishment or do you act out of love for Jesus? May God search the motives of our hearts today. May all that we do or say comes out of our desire to glorify God.

Maintain Your Intensity

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Monday, June 21, 2010 at 3:59 PM

And now I want each of you to extend that same intensity toward a full-bodied hope, and keep at it till the finish. Don't drag your feet. Be like those who stay the course with committed faith and then get everything promised to them (Hebrews 6:11-13, The Message). Intensity is the state or quality of being extreme, strained or stretched. It is to continue in all earnestness and diligence after accomplishing, promoting or striving for anything. Maintain your intensity in your love for God and your ministry!

Remember "Quitters are never Winners, winners are never quitters." When the going is tough, the tough gets going.

Winners are radical

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Friday, June 18, 2010 at 7:36 AM

Winners are intense people. Winners are extreme people. If you desire to be a winner, decide today to be radical in your faith, intense in your commitment and extreme in your love for God. There is no room for mediocrity in God's Kingdom. Winners achieve goals and lay hold of results others only dream of because of their sheer commitment and attitude. Be a winner today.

There are 15 more days to the Youth Concert. The success of this concert all depends on You! Will you set a goal of bringing at least 5 people to this concert. BE INTENSE IN YOUR COMMITMENT.

Be RADICAL Ignytes!

Our Big God

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 10:48 AM

God is a big God and wants to do big things in your life. He wants to do more than you have asked Him to do. He wants to do more than you can think. Some of you have had people push you down and tell you what you cannot do. But God says to you today, You can do all things! You are destined to do great things. You are destined to sit on the throne. God has seated you in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Break free from every trap set by negative words.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13)

Set God before your

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Friday, June 11, 2010 at 11:30 AM

I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken (Psalm 16:8). David was able to make up his mind and keep his mind made up. How? He set the Lord before him. What does that mean? The word set means equalizer, counterbalance; something to keep me or help me maintain composure. Set the Lord before you and allow Him to maintain your composure.

Security in the storm

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 9:22 AM

But the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it (Matthew 14:24). Jesus Christ is not our security against never having a storm in our lives. He is our perfect security in the storms! He has never promised us an easy passage, but He has promised a safe landing. Sail on. We can trust our Captain to guide us safely in!

Security in the Father

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 7:09 AM

What a great day you will have if, like Jesus, you simply say, My Father loves me and shows me everything necessary for me to navigate through this day successfully. And I know He is going to show me greater things down the road. How simple your life will be when you find your security not in what others think of you, but in what the Father thinks of you. How does the Father feel about you? He is so in love with you that He sent His Son to die for you, to pay the price for your sin (Romans 5:8)

Approved by the Father

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 11:23 AM

And the Father Himself, which sent Me, has testified of Me (John 5:37-38). Jesus' validation came not from people but it came directly from the Father. Is your validation coming from your own accomplishments or from others patting you on the back? Validation for your life will not come from someone pointing out how good you are. Nor will it come from your own achievements. True validation comes when you hear the voice of the Father saying, Well done, good and faithful servant. That is the only validation which brings security, satisfaction and stability.

His Infinite Love

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 1:22 AM

Jesus loved . . . Lazarus. Yet when He heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where He was two more days (John 14: 5-6). The Lord is teaching us here: at the heart of all His dealings with us is His infinite love, no matter how strange it may be. Dare to believe it even though His love allows trials to mature us into His likeness.

Thank you Lord for your infinite and everlasting love.

Just Stop and Think

Posted by Eunice | | Posted On Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 2:38 PM

Spend 15 minutes to watch this video. Stop and think and just marvel at God's amazing love for us. What are we busy with day after day? What are we actually missing out in life?

There's no greater love than His love - the Creator of the universe, God most high..

PSALM ONE

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Friday, June 4, 2010 at 12:45 AM

Blessed are the young men and women who will not walk in the counsel of MTV. Nor stand in the path of critical higher education. Nor sit in the seat of modern unbelief and religion. But they delight in the holiness, the power, the glory, the presence of God, the Word, the Blood, the faith, the covenant, the worship and the Gospel. Let that become your meditation.

Hi from Atlanta

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM

Hi guys,

Here in Atlanta for the Foursquare Convention. Elected a new President, Glenn Burris. Busy with meetings and also limited time to go online.

Powerful messages these two nights.

Encouraged to preach Jesus as our message and to walk as Jesus walked. Simple but powerful messages.

Hope to have more time to catch up with you all.
