Thank God for the answer

Today (BTW, it is still Sunday in the US) in the church service in Emporia, Kansas, they honoured the high school graduates and the college graduates. They each received a gift from the church and the church prayed for them.
They have this culture in the States where the graduates will host graduation parties and people are invited to their homes to celebrate together with them. So we went on our rounds to all the different graduation parties. Very interesting!
Today our devotion is from John 11.
Jesus said in John 11:41, "Father, I thank You that You heard Me. Jesus thanked His Father for the answer before Lazarus was raised from the dead. Do we practice the Master's sequence: praising and thanking God before the answer comes? Nothing pleases the Father more than we, by faith, begin thanking Him for the miracle before it happens. Do it now! Don't wait for feelings!
~ God Has The Answer ~
We all want God's voice to thunder through the air with the answer to our problem. But God is the still, small voice....the gentle whisper. Perhaps there's a reason.
Nothing draws human focus quite like a whisper. God's whisper means we must stop our ranting, move closer to Him, and thanking Him for our being. And then, as we listen, we will find our answer.
