GOD'S PROVIISION

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 11:37 AM

This morning as I remember the coming youth camp, and the amount you have to pay for it ..... Also those who are in college and dependent upon PTPTN loans (or others) and financial support from your parents and loved ones . . . I want to encourage you with this devotional thought . . .

God supplies your needs according to His riches in glory. Don't just expect Him to fill your basket. Bring your vessels, not a few, because the more you bring to Him the more He will fill and run over. It is not the size of the basket. It is not the amount of bread. It is the multiplying ability o God that will make the difference in your life. God will bless you such that not only you will receive blessings, your life will also begin to bless others. Declare it today. There is going to be bread in your empty basket!

WHAT IS A CHAMPION?

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 11:59 AM

Webster describes a champion as a person who fights for or defends any person or cause. A fighter is someone who is willing to defend and support a cause. The Bible says that God is looking for champions of faith who will be willing to risk all to be obedient to Him and do His work. God does not want part of you. He want all of you. The more you give of yourself to God, the more He will be able to use you. Don't hold back. Give everything you are and everything you have to God.

Truth Brings Freedom

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 11:33 AM

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free (John 8:32). In the context of human knowledge, many things are true. Yet there is only one truth that will set people free from sin, destruction and Satan's dominion - the truth of Jesus Christ found in God's Word. As we read, study and meditate on God's Word, HIs truth brings us liberation mentally, physically, emotionally and in every area of life. We find freedom from all our hang-ups and bondages in the pages of God's Word!

Dynamic Quotes

Be more concerned with what God thinks than what people think about you.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33

The best way to get the last word is to apologize.

If you have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth, then do this, my son, to free yourself, since you have fallen into your neighbour's hands: Go and humble yourself; press your plea with your neighbour! Proverbs 6:2-3

Peace our of this world

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Friday, September 24, 2010 at 11:18 AM

Jesus promises to give us His peace. Not a peace like people in the world without Jesus have, a peace that is gone with the wind when tough times come. The kind of peace Jesus gives us gets stronger under trial while other people quake with worry and fear. When I said, My foot is slipping, your love O Lord, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul (Psalms 94: 18-19).

Dynamic Quotes

You should never let adversity get you down - except on your knees.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come . . . shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:38-39

It is good to remember that the tea kettle, although up to its neck in hot water, continues to sing.

Tea leaves emit their fragrance and flavour best when they are steeped in boiling hot water.

Rejoice always. In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16, 18

Live For Him

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 10:51 AM

Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you (Philippians 1:24). If God had willed it, each of us could have entered heaven the moment we accepted Christ as our Saviour. We are fully qualified to be in heaven from the moment we are saved. In fact, in God's infinite wisdom this sometimes happens. Why does He leave us here? The purpose is that we may live for Him and bring others to know His love and life through Jesus Christ. We have a work to do!

No Compromise

If you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything.

Remember: For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:20.

Conscience is God's build-in warning system. Be very happy when it hurts you. Be very worried when it doesn't.

Supernatural Provision

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Friday, September 17, 2010 at 11:56 AM

The key to supernatural provision is on your lips. Declare God's freedom today. Not only are you going to be set free, but everyone around you is going to be loosed as you praise the Lord. There is not a wall strong enough that God cannot shake down. Give Him your walls, give Him your chains, give Him your prison house and let Him set you free. Say this loud and strong: God is getting ready to shake down the walls and I am going free. I will never be bound again!

Spiritual Discernment

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 11:38 AM

God has given us discernment, wisdom and spiritual insight so that we can see things in the Spirit realm, even before they happen in the natural realm. Paul prays that our love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that we may be able to discern what is good, best and remain pure and blameless until the day of Christ (Philippians 1:9-10). Ask God to grant you the discernment to know what is best for your career, marriage, family and day and day living. And He will do just that!

In tune with the Spirit

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 10:43 AM

Hi! The Ignyte Committee has met yesterday night and we have many exciting things lined up for you:

  • We continue our cell group discussion this Saturday. Remember to bring your notes.
  • We have planned an outing on October 30 to Taiping Lake Gardens. Departing from church at 9.30 a.m. RM 5.00 per person.
  • The highlight will be our youth camp on 19th - 21st December at El Sanctuary, Alor Gajah. The theme is "The Amazing Race." We will be raising funds for our youth camp. So be prepared! Be ready!
A short devotion today on keeping in tune with the Spirit.

Hebrews 6:1 exhorts us to keep on moving. Set new spiritual goals for your life. Don't settle for just a salvation experience but continue to grow in the things of God. At a commercial show a man displayed his truck that had traveled over 600,000 miles. When questioned about the amazing lifespan of his truck he attributed it to good maintenance and fine tuning it to its design. The engine is only as good as the maintenance that is done on it. Keep yourself in tune to the Holy Spirit and in line with the Word of God. And you will stay on the road for a long time!

Guard Against Complacency

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 9:32 AM

In 2 Samuel 11:1, David had lost his spiritual edge. He had a settled spirit instead of a conquering one. David let others fulfill his spiritual duty. He rationalized he was not needed at the frontline of the battle and allowed others to do his job or ministry. He lost his zeal. Do the things that used to be important or fulfilling in your walk with God no longer hold that prominent place in your life? How is you walk with God right now?

Supernatural Christianity

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 11:58 AM

If we do not have a supernatural Christianity, we have nothing but another religion. Religion is a form devoid of any true power. Christianity is life! Supernatural life! Christianity is the miracle life. It began in miracles. It is based on a succession of miracles and is propagated by miracles. It is the only life that truly satisfies a dead humanity.

Obedience

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 10:34 AM

He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me (John 14:21). Whether or not we obey the Lord's commands is one of the best indicators of how much we actually love the Lord. People who say they love the Lord but do not actively live for Him are self-deceived. But they do not deceive God. Is your love for the Lord real enough for the obedience test?

Streams of Living Water

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Monday, September 6, 2010 at 4:52 PM

Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him. By this He meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were later to receive . . . (John 7:38-39). Be filled with the Holy Spirit, walk in the Spirit and let the fruit of the Spirit abound in your life. When we are filled with the Spirit, words like streams of living water will flow out from within us to other people. Our words and actions will be refreshing streams of living water that give life, comfort, cleansing, healing and satisfaction to people. Lord, let Your life-giving water flow through me!

Do you accept defeat easily?

Posted by Ps. Jenny | | Posted On Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 12:49 PM

But David said to Saul . . . When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth (1 Samuel 17:34-35). One of the core qualities of people who succeed in business is that they have a never-say-die attitude that always seek to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. They succeed because they possess tenacity in the face of adversity. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23).
