Colossians 2

SCRIPTURE

Continue to live in Christ Jesus . . . overflowing with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6-7

When we grasp who Jesus is and what he does for us, we aren't just grateful in words. We respond with full surrender of our lives.

Jesus died on the cross for our sin, but most of us don't keep that in our minds from day to day. What can you do to maintain a fresh sense of gratitude for his sacrifice?

In addition to the cross, what has Jesus done that deserves extravagant love, gratitude, or worship from you? How can you begin to praise him for the things he has done?

Opening your heart and expressing your thanks to God is an intimate act of worship. Write a prayer of worship to God, telling him of your deep gratitude for the things that he has done.

Jesus said, "You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven - for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little." Luke 7:46-47
